Enrollment Procedures
The admission process in Peace International School consists of three main steps:
- Entry Registration
- Placement test
- Official enrollment
Step 1: Entry Registration
Parents fill in the Application form (the Peace International School form)
Step 2: Placement Test
- Being of ages specified by MoET
- Ranking good and/or above academically. Fulfill all the behavioral requirements.
- English
- Vietnamese
- Math
- Skills (for Grade 1)
- Being of ages specified by MoET
- Certified as having completed the primary curriculum
- Ranking good and/or above both in academics and conduct.
- English
- Literature
- Math
- Being of ages specified by MoET
- Certified as having completed Junior Secondary school
- Ranking good and/or above both in academics and conduct.
- English
- Literature
- Math
Notes:
a) Transfer students must:
- Present all the required documents and school transcripts before applying for the next grade.
- Rank good and/or above academically and fulfill all the behavioral requirements (for primary school), receiving no disciplinary sanctions in the previous schools.
b) The School will process the documents and send the results to parents if the student passes the placement tests.
Step 3: Official enrolment
Parents enroll their children as per the schedule specified by the School or, at the latest, 7 days after having paid all fees. Enrollment documents include:
- Application form (the school form)
- Transcript
- School transfer documents (for school-transferring students)
- Picture (4x6)
- Copy of birth certificate or Translation of birth certificate (for non-Vietnamese)
- Copy of permanent residence certificate or copy of passport (for non-Vietnamese)
- Certificate of Completion of Kindergarten Curriculum
- Certificate of Completion of Primary Curriculum (for Middle School)
- Certificate of Completion of Middle School or temporary document of the certificate (for High School)
- School Report (for the case of school transfer during the school year)
- Legal documents to be entitled to priorities and encouragement in studying, entrance or graduation examinations (if any)
Notes
a) Students must present sufficient and valid enrollment documents as specified by the School.
b) The student’s prior academic and conduct transcripts provided by their parents will be processed and inspected for their accuracy and validity.
c) The school does not provide any program for disabled students, or for those who have defects in perception, or developmental abilities.
